DELIVERING SOLUTIONS TO ERADICATE MALARIA
At Tanzania Network of NGOs Against Malaria (TNNAM), we provide a wide range of services that directly contribute to malaria elimination and improved community health. Our services are designed to combine advocacy, prevention, treatment accessibility, research, and capacity building to ensure a comprehensive and sustainable response to malaria and neglected tropical diseases (NTDs).
POLICY ADVOCACY AND COMMUNITY MOBILIZATION
We engage with government leaders, policymakers, and communities to influence malaria-related policies and encourage accountability in their implementation. Using tools like the Tanzania Malaria Scorecard, we provide real-time data to decision-makers and build momentum for stronger malaria control strategies.
VECTOR CONTROL AND MOSQUITO NET DISTRIBUTION
Through targeted initiatives, we supply long-lasting insecticide-treated mosquito nets (LLINs) to the most vulnerable populations, including pregnant women and children under five. Our services also include identification of mosquito breeding sites and the application of biolarvicides.
ACCESS TO MALARIA TREATMENT AND DIAGNOSTICS
TNNAM supports healthcare systems by increasing access to rapid diagnostic tests (RDTs) and high-quality malaria treatments. We work with local clinics and health providers to ensure patients receive early detection and life-saving care.
COMMUNITY HEALTH EDUCATION AND OUTREACH
Educating communities is at the heart of our work. We conduct awareness campaigns, school programs, and community workshops to teach families about prevention methods, recognizing symptoms, and seeking timely treatment. Empowering people with knowledge creates lasting behavioral change.
CAPACITY BUILDING FOR PARTNERS AND HEALTH WORKERS
We provide training, mentorship, and technical support to NGOs, CBOs, and healthcare workers across Tanzania. By strengthening their skills and resources, we ensure that malaria prevention and control strategies are implemented effectively at the grassroots level.
RESEARCH, INNOVATION, AND DATA MANAGEMENT
Innovation drives progress. TNNAM collaborates with research institutions to explore new treatment options, innovative vector control methods, and technology-driven solutions for malaria eradication. Through data collection and monitoring tools, we track impact and refine our strategies for maximum effectiveness.
POLITICAL ENGAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP SENSITIZATION
We work with national and local leaders to increase political will in the fight against malaria. By raising awareness among policymakers and building strong advocacy networks, we secure greater commitments and funding toward malaria eradication.
MONITORING, EVALUATION, AND IMPACT ASSESSMENT
To ensure accountability and transparency, TNNAM provides continuous monitoring and evaluation of malaria programs. We assess the impact of interventions across regions, generate evidence-based reports, and share insights with stakeholders. This service helps refine strategies, improve resource allocation, and demonstrate the measurable difference our efforts make.
