ABOUT US
As a national coalition of civil society organizations and community partners, TNNAM stands at the forefront of the fight against malaria and neglected tropical diseases.
OUR STORY
Tanzania Network of NGOs Against Malaria (TNNAM) is a leading coalition of civil society organizations, community-based organizations, and non-state actors dedicated to eradicating malaria and neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) in Tanzania. Established in February 2017 by malaria activists and frontline health advocates, TNNAM serves as a national platform to unify efforts, advocate for policy change, and mobilize resources for malaria elimination.
In May 2019, during a strategic meeting coordinated by the ALMA Secretariat in Tanzania, TNNAM expanded its scope by inviting key partners, including representatives from South Korea’s APPGM (All-Party Parliamentary Group on Malaria) and other global stakeholders. This collaboration reinforced the mission to eliminate malaria through community engagement, policy advocacy, and capacity building.
